先日（11月26日）、大埔地区で発生した大規模火災により、住民の方々や１名の消防士さんの尊い命が奪われ、また多くの方々が負傷されたという報道に接し、本校関係者は皆心をいため、悲しみの中にあります。この悲劇がもたらした辛さは言葉ではうまく表せません。今、本校は香港の皆さんと心をひとつにしております。犠牲となられた方々とそのご家族に心より哀悼の意を表するとともに、おけがをされた方々の一日も早い回復を、衷心よりお祈り申し上げます。

本校は香港で２箇所に校舎を持っており、そのうちのひとつ「大埔校（Japanese International School）」は、1997年に大埔地区に設立され、いままでずっとこの大埔で本校児童らが勉強し成長してきました。

On November 26, we were saddened to learn that a large-scale fire in the Tai Po area had taken the precious lives of local residents and one firefighter, and had injured many others. Everyone in our school community is deeply heartbroken by this tragedy. The pain it has caused is beyond words. At this moment, our school stands in solidarity with the people of Hong Kong. We extend our heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives and their families, and we sincerely pray for the swift recovery of all who were injured.

Our school operates two campuses in Hong Kong, one of which— Japanese International School—was established in the Tai Po area in 1997. Since then, our students have learned and grown in this community.

11月26日，大埔地區發生的大型火災奪去了多名居民及一名消防員的寶貴生命，並造成許多人受傷，這一消息令我們深感悲痛。本校全體成員對此不幸事件深表哀傷，內心沉痛難以言喻。在此時刻，本校與香港各界共同面對這份傷痛。我們向罹難者及其家屬致上最深切的哀悼，並誠心祈願所有受傷者早日康復。

本校在香港設有兩個校舍，其中之大埔校（日本國際學校）於1997年在大埔地區成立。自那時起，本校學生一直在這片社區中學習與成長。
